Our students were rock stars in SNS26 Torino! ⭐

Last week our lab had the pleasure of attending the 13th Steroids and Nervous System Congress in Turin, Italy 🇮🇹

It was a fantastic opportunity to connect with fellow scientists, discuss new ideas, and learn about the latest advances in neurosteroid research and neurobiology.

We were also proud to present our work:

📃 Catarina de Jesus presented a poster titled “β-tibolone modulates astrocytic metabolism and promotes neuroprotection under energy stress.”

🎤 Manuela Faddetta delivered a talk during the Young Investigator Symposium titled “Altered aromatase activity induces mitochondrial dysfunction and metabolic reprogramming in astrocytes.”
